Financial Advice Certificate

Several banks, including St George, Westpac, and AMP require a RG146 qualified Financial Adviser to sign off on SMSF loans. They require a Financial Advice Certificate, or Certificate of Financial Advice, prior to settling your loan. This sometimes comes as a surprise, and can delay settlement if you don’t have an adviser.
